💛 How to Choose the Right Pilates Class for You

Mat, Reformer, or Barre - find your perfect fit at Core Motion Studios, Brendale

Starting something new can be exciting… but also a little overwhelming (hello, choice overload!). At Core Motion Studios in Brendale, we offer a variety of class styles - because we know one size never fits all. Whether you're after gentle strength, mindful movement, or an uplifting sweat session, there’s something here for you.

Here’s a quick guide to help you find the class that aligns with your energy, goals, and where you’re at today:

🔹 Reformer Pilates

Best for: Full-body strength, deep core support, posture, injury recovery, and mindful movement.
Using a reformer machine (think springs, pulleys, and support!), this class builds strength without stress on your joints. It’s low-impact, highly effective, and suitable for beginners and experienced movers alike.

Looking to feel strong, aligned, and supported? Reformer might be your new favourite thing.

🔹 Mat Pilates

Best for: Core control, stability, breathwork, and precision.
Mat classes use your body weight and small props like balls and bands. They're grounded, calming, and deeply effective for improving control and awareness.

Perfect if you're craving that slow, steady, centered feeling.

🔹 Barre

Best for: Toning, energy, posture, and that feel-good burn.
A playful blend of Pilates, strength, and ballet-inspired movement (no dance experience needed!). Barre is low-impact but oh-so-spicy - great for boosting endorphins and sculpting from head to toe.

Think tiny movements, big impact, and lots of smiles.
